The super spurs

There are many of Big 3 or any form superstars fusions in the league but most of them just manage to grab some limelight and don't actually deliver the expected performance and chemistry. However, the Spurs Big 3 is definitely one of the most successful combination of stars that went through the test of time.

First, there is no conflicts in the roles within the trio. The corner stone of the team Duncan is the leader of the team, he grab rebounds, the protector under the rim defensively. Offensively, he can be the one to post up in the paint and initiate a play, score himself or feed the sharp shooters on the perimeter, or he can play the supporting cast to set screens and scramble for offensive rebounds. Unselfish and calm he has been playing this role well consistently well for one and a half decade.

Tony Parker who now can be said as the leader of the team and handles the ball most of the time in offense is a explosive and quick point guard, his speed is a threat to most of the teams in the NBA, and with years of experience he has improved his game with his decision in passing. He can drive into the paint and score a floater on his own or feed the ball to the shooters when he is double teamed. With the aging of Duncan, Popovich has molded Parker to be the playmaker and offense initiator of the team.

Manu Ginobili is a very skillful guard who is willing to sacrifice his minutes for the good of his team. He is good in penetrating defense and his drive and layup is so unpredictable and not to mention his euro step, he is also a good perimeter shooter that makes him even harder to guard. Besides skills, he has also big nerves, he can often make big score when he is needed.

Unlike the other stellar teams like Heats, where D Wade's role is actually in conflict with James's, the role to handle the ball and start the plays, which was usually Wade's role in the Heats. When both of them are on the court, Wade can create space for James as he is not good at 3 pointer. I am saying that Wade is not good, but it is obvious that the Heats want James to take the ball. It answers why the better rally better when a bunch of shooters are on court with James.

In San Antonio, now most of the attacks start from Parker or from Duncan posting up and calling for ball in the paint, with smooth ball circulation they find the best open man to make the shot. But if both Duncan or Parker are encumbered by the opponents Manu Ginobili can be a third playmaker to bring some impact on the team, he has the characteristic and ability to handle that. In the normal offense system, he can be a static perimeter shooter who can create space for Parker and others.

2013 NBA Final Game 6#

This is what a final should look like, I mean the second half and especially the last quarter, scoreboard is not adding points, lots of aggressive defense, turnovers from everyone, key rebounding and clutch shot. It is how it should be unlike game 5 which was just simply lopsided. It is so thrilling, the last quarter and overtime is really taking my breath.

I want to credit R. Allen for his astonishing equaliser at the final 5 second of the game even tough it is the only 3 pointer he made in the game. Who cares? We are talking about quality not quantity. Lebron has a great game, triple double and his burst out in the second half is detrimental to the result of the game though there are turnovers and missed easy shots, the rally to tie the game in the regulation is still attributed to the MVP.

Wade is quite silent tonight, no tremendous replays and no clutch performance but on the other hand he might sustain a injury from the collision with Ginobili.

The spurs is doing well in the regular time, persistence and stability, having the lead most of the time, Duncan is dominating the paint, neither Bosh nor Birdman can hold him.

Leonard is doing a pretty good tonight, showing fearlessness against Lebron and getting the ball in to the hoop when there is a turnover from the Heats, not fancy but effective. And his dunk in the face of Miller is just awesome.

Now what would happen in the determining final game of this season? Spurs of Heats, I hope it will be as thrilling and exciting as game 6.

Return of Nash??

Come on, we need Nash
I think many of the fans share a same thought of mine
Thinking Nash as the last resort for the Lakers
Thinking that this 2 times MVP point guard will bring some significant evolution to the Lakers

Although Nash gonna be a shortfall in the defensive end
But looking at their games now
The team is desperate for changes currently in a losing streak
Yeah, Kobe has some prolific individual performances
But They lost most of the games with Kobe scored more than 30 points
Come, he is not the young Kobe raving to get score anymore
He is eager to win now

Back to Nash
All he needs will be a couple static canons, Kobe and World Peace can take the roles, catch and shoot
Some hasty legs to set some fastbreak points
And a big guy who can screen and jam in the paint, Dwight and Gasol

An all-around forward will be a befitted piece of puzzle of the Lakers with Nash
Antwan Jamison, he is able to take this job, he can grab rebounds, can run, can shoot, post play and even 3 pointer dagger.
So I think it is better to have Jamison plays starting power forward if they want to play effective run and gun
better choice over Gasol
I still like Gasol, and he should stay, the team needs him when they want to dominate under the hoop and when hard defense is in play

I still have faith in this Lakers roaster
Imminent improvement is coming soon
And reclaim the central stage

The former all star forward

Lakers still struggle

Another solid performance form Kobe Bryant 40 points came along with 10 rebounds
But how sinister for Kobe to have lost the game
A tie game, just 2 points to Indiana Pacers
come on
54 percent on the foul line, and 32 percent field goal
what happens to the others the bench
Kobe just outscored all his spiritless teammates(40 to 37)
The Lakers were like praying Kobe to make every single jumper, 3 pointer and layup
even without Nash still you got to work things out
Come on,
Lots of fans will be disappointed

Kobe remains tough

At the age of 34, even inflicted by some injuries
Kobe Bryant is still fit to score a prolific 38 points with a efficient 55% accuracy
Forget about the loss to Kings of that game

With such an outstanding condition, why he needs to relinquish his domination in the team?
He just prove himself a superstar, a sustainable and long lasting superstar

And it is indeed to my surprise that such solidly strong performance of Kobe comes so early in the season
you know it hints that there will be more coming on the way

God please let this guy stay fit for a couple of seasons more
And Dwight, he is waiting for your rock the city

I love this man's layup very much, if Lebron's Jam is a super pop, then this lay up is a old school classic

Mike D'Antoni, the "Right Mike"

Just when the whole LA is talking about who will be the head coach of the Lakers
And when some rumor has that Phil Jackson the Zen Master
Shockingly to our surprise Mike D'Antoni has taken the post, out of all's expectation

I personally don't recognize the last Mike, Mike Brown as a good coach
When this starry hollywood lineup of the Lakers was formed, I was thinking that it was certainly a waste to have Brown to coach this roster
Firing Mike Brown has just allayed some of the worries and fears of mine and I bet the other fans

Okay, Stop criticizing Mike Brown.

Mike D'Antoni, a very vibrant veteran coach who has experience in the euro basketball (with even 2 euro league titles) is best known for his aggressive and spectacular attacking games
In spite of his average result during his stint in New York
He is now in L.A to bolster the confidences of the fans
Can you recall the Sun with Nash, Stoudemire, Marion...
Run and Gun
It is always exciting to watch his games
Although he has yet to win any title in NBA
but his ability to coach is indisputable and no one will doubt him to be fitter than Brown

Just like George Karl, his basketball belief has that attacking is the most effective form of defense
However, after decades of coaching career in NBA, George Karl is still longing for his first title

The worst opening of the season and the pre-season games of the Lakers has inflicted an immense disappointment to all the Lakers' die hard fans and me. They were just disappointing.
Mike D'Antoni has to turn thing up, the fans of Lakers are cheering for his reign in the hope that he could assist Kobe to another few or maybe the last trip to the final and conquer the league
And I also hope that he will break the refute the long standing phenomenon of " Offense wins applause and Defense wins the game"
Hope that he can attain something outstanding in Lakers

The collaboration of Nash and D'Antoni is inarguable and should bring some good impact on the execution of the game plans and the chemical effect of the team
As for Kobe, he is still fit to score and mark, he should be very grateful that Lakers enlists Mike D'Antoni as the last piece of the lakers complete team

Now the veteran Lakers has the height, the experience the clutch and the right coach
the only downside of this super Lakers is the bench
There is an apparent disparity between the starting line up and the substitute
It hints that the starting line up must stay healthy the whole season
Or something must be done to address it before the window closed

Lakers must reclaim the central stage under D'Antoni's Steer

The right "Mike"

This guy is another corner stone of the Lakers
cheers

Pre season surprise from lakers

Wow... that is indeed a long time that I don't update myself about NBA
I was so surprised when the news of Howard is traded to lakers came to me
A couple of years back, I was desperately hoping Lakers could sign KG
A super paint dominator...
But now I was so excited that Dwight Howard one of top center in the league currently and in his tip top condition is in L.A now
I guess the whole Lakers's fans family is getting crazy out of over excitement
look at the roster

PG Nash
SG KObe
SF Metta
PF Gasol
C   Dwight

To me this roster is more than enough to fight against the young Thunders
regaining the western conference champ is a must for them now
if not they will certainly lets a lots of fans down
Think about the luxury tax that is charged on Lakers
I guess this dream roster can only happen in Lakers
The rich club
For sure if they fail to get back to the peak regain the NBA title
this massive investment of LAkers is considered a failure

Whatever so
I think Kobe must be so grateful towards Lakers
for giving him a last boost to the peak in his career

talking bout title
there is some else in the team is more concerned about it
Nash who is still pursuing his first ring

when he leaves Sun there is no boos from the home town fans
because he has gave his best to the city and
all of us think know that He should go for his ring

How to choose a pair of basketball shoes?

Basketball shoes is more than a fashionable accessory on court. In stead, basketball shoes is specially designed for handling the specific foot movements in basketball game. Playing basketball in basketball shoes gives you the protection to your foot and legs. Further, a pair of basketball shoes is more durable as compared to playing basketball in an ordinary pair of shoes.

let me share with yalls how to choose a pair so suitable basketball shoes
A pair of good basketball shoes is important to a player, but keep in mind that it wont elevate your performance in basketball.

How Do You Play the Games?
To choose basketball shoes first you need to know the style of your play whether you play center, you rely on your speed or you are an all-around player

Speed Demon
Herring Bone Pattern
if you are a speed demon, you will need excellent ankle flexibility, thus a low top will serve you the best. Besides that, to you traction or grip is crucial for you to pick yourself up and cross over. Therefore you need out sole with good traction, and usually herring bone pattern (MMMout sole is the best for you. For impact absorption, Nike Zoom Air will be the best option to you because it is the thinnest Air which is very responsive and so enhance your agile plays like cut and break.

Power Player
If you are a power player,  you will need heavy protection because you will do a lot of jump an landing where usually these players have a heavier weight. So shoes with good cushioning is suitable for you, therefore nike shoes with Air or Shox or Zig Tech of Reebok will serve you the best where they are good at impact absorption especially the impact caused by a heel strike . And usually ankle support is very important to you since you perform a lots of powerful moves, therefore high top shoes is good for you

(to learn more on  Nike Air and Nike Shox click the link below)

All-around player
If you are a swing man who plays front court and back court, you will need a mid top shoes that will give you ankle support as well as the flexibility to your ankle movement. Shoes with impact absorption like Air and Zoom Air is also suitable for you to handle the heel strike. Besides, out sole with good traction is also important for you to perform your speed. For traction, out sole with herring bone pattern is the best option.

Which is the Most Comfortable to You?
After knowing the types of shoes that suits you, the next step is to choose a pair which is the most comfortable to you among all the brands. There are several reputable producer of Basketball shoes they are Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Converse and And1. However the first 3 brands are recommended. I and personally think that Nike has the best functions and most of the Adidas shoes are usually more durable,  and Reebok also produces good shoes.

However when choosing, you should totally forget about the outlook of the shoes. Basically all these basketball shoes giants are doing a good job. Therefore, all you need to consider is whether you are comfortable in a shoes. So you are in a store don't be shy, put on both shoes and try to run, leap and jump in the store. Even though, it looks weird in front of the public but it is worth consider the price of the shoes usually cost few hundred ringgits. And also don't forget to wear your socking when you visit a store trying on shoes without socking is foolish.

The Right Size
After you have make up your mind about which model of which brand you wannna purchase. Now you need to know the actual size of your foots. The right size is a must for basketball shoes, if the shoes are too small to your foot it will cause injury and corns to your foot and shoes that is larger than your foot will be a burden when you play. It is always advisable to ask the store to measure for you because the size will change sometime even after puberty. Stores like Royal Sport House and Al Ikhsan actually have professional tool to measure your foot size, but just the case that you need to request yourself because the salespersons in these stores are usually passive.

Find the Price
Now, you come the stage of bargain hunting. As i said basketball shoes are not cheap and usually cost around RM 250 for a decent one so it wont be wasting time for you to visit you a few store for the price of shoes that
you want and you will see the difference.

And i personally don't advise to buy signature shoes of the Stars like Zoom Kobe and Zoom Lebron, because they charge you more than what the shoes have just because it is a signature shoes of Lebron. I know you understand me. When these shoes are in a sales promotion or discount the stock may be kept for years and the out sole will easily detach, you can often see this happen in Nike shoes. However, i am always wanted  those shoes because I m a big fans of NBA. Lastly, to maintain your shoes please play more often and you will find your shoes more durable it is a magic.

Uninteresting Post Season Games

Without Kobe now
The playoff seems not interesting to me at all
I miss the feeling of cheering for lakers in the last few seasons playoff

May be it is a time for me to change
change to Wade and Heat

But I seem to find Kevin Durrant's plays is so fascinating
And just like the younger Kobe
He is cold blooded
Make big shot
